Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside has confirmed that the Moto X phone is coming by October this year. The device will be made in the United States with parts coming in from Taiwan, Korea and other countries as well. The Moto X will compete with the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy lineup. It looks like Motorola is upping the game and looking to compete with the “big boys” under Google supervision.
Moto X phone will be launched with multiple carriers along with a “handful” of other devices; what’s interesting is that Dennis Woodside was carrying the phone with him but didn’t give a sneak peek of the Moto X phone.
Let’s hope the Moto X phone is an awesome piece of art; personally I love Motorola’s hardware but their policy of locking bootloaders is what I hate. We wish that the bootloader on the Moto X phone is not locked; hope you are listening to us Motorola.
