Google Play Music Updated, Now Allows Pinning of Radio Stations

Google has updated Google Play Music to version 5.4.1409N and it is pushing out now for your listening pleasure. This latest update includes a few bug fixes, device management from within the app, and the ability to pin radio stations to your device for offline listening.

Google had always imposed a limit of ten devices on your Play Music account, but prior to this update you could only remove devices through a web portal. Now you can remove old devices from within the app itself, all in a few taps.

The biggest part of this update is for All Access subscribers. If you pay for this service, you now have the ability to pin radio stations to your device for off-line listening. This is big! Combine that with a past update allowing you to store pinned music to your SD card, and you now have an awful lot of music at your fingertips, even in an area with no reception.

What is your go to music app? Does the ability to pin radio stations put Google Play Music over the top for you, or are you still a live streaming kind of person? Let us know in the comments or reach out to us on one of the many social networks.
