It is no surprise that all carrier versions of the Moto X will receive Kit Kat, the only question is when. Verizon received their official release yesterday, and today Motorola is sending out emails to notify AT&T customers of an “early preview of a new software release.” I do not think I am going out on a limb by stating the software update is Kit Kat.
