Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III One Click Root (any OTA)

 

You read the title right folks!  This is a one click root method for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III (any OTA).

 

The crafty son of a guns over at XDA did it again.  As a lot of you know Verizon has been pushing quite a few OTA’s for their Galaxy S III lately.  Multiwindows and a data connection bug fix being the two most recent.  Well, here’s the problem with OTA’s – while they’re great to have the latest and greatest from your carrier and device, it also is a good way to lose root.  Luckily the Samsung Galaxy S III is still a popular phone and is getting love from the dev community because with a little help from Adam Outler and a few others, beanstown106 over at XDA has created a one click root, unlock and recovery tool.  When I say One click!  It doesn’t get anymore one click than this.

Normally when it comes to rooting, unlocking and putting a custom recovery on your device there are a few steps and quite a bit of reading to do.  Not with this One click root for the Verizon Galaxy S III!

Instructions:
1. enable usb debugging
2. plug in usb cable
3. hit Forget You Verizon(Do It) button
4. smile – profit within seconds
