You gotta be kidding me, the rumors mills are running again. This time it’s the Sony Xperia Z which gets some media attention, as per an anonymous insider at Sony, Sony & Google are working on the Xperia Z Google Edition and it could launch as early as July. Xperia Z Google Edition will supposedly have support for AT&T and T-Mobile LTE networks. The Xperia Z Google Edition will be available in the Play Store for a price of $599. The updates will be directly from Google just like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition and HTC One Google Edition.
Looks like manufacturers are finally realizing that Everybody loves AOSP.
Bear in mind the Xperia Z is one hell of a device, it has quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro running at 1.5Ghx, 2gb of RAM & a 13mp camera. Stock Android on the Xperia Z would be worth it.
