Yesterday we had reported that Google is rolling out an update to Google Play services, which has Google Play Games functionality. Well we still haven’t got the update ourselves but we managed to grab the apk of the internet. When I installed the apk on my Oppo find 5 running CyanogenMod I couldn’t see the Play Games icon, after reboot I lost signal and had to uninstall the update to get signal back. From the looks of it, it seems that the apk is not meant to be installed on non Nexus devices, but we do not have a Nexus device to confirm that as of now. If any of our readers have a Nexus device and is brave enough to download and install the apk and let us know the results that would be great.
