Is Google going to release a 32GB LTE Nexus 4 at the upcoming Google I/O? No one will know until Google I/O but rumor mills are suggesting that Google will reveal a 32GB LTE Nexus 4 running Key Lime Pie at Google I/O this year.
A lot people (including me) will be majorly disappointed if a new Nexus phone is not released at the Google I/O, to us it looks like Google planned to release the Moto X at Google I/O this year but maybe they just want to delay launching the Moto X as it may not be ready for primetime yet. It does make sense to sell a LTE version of the Nexus 4 if you look at it from a sales point of view as the sales for the Nexus 4 have not yet reached a point where they are declining.
On the other side, Google not releasing a new Nexus phone at Google I/O will make them similar to what Apple is doing with iPhone releases over the last few years, this would be the right time to release a new Nexus phone and hit Apple hard but it looks like Google has different plans. What will make some people happy is if Google comes out with a white Nexus 4 though, considering we already have a white OEM bumper for the Nexus 4 we think Google should launch a white Nexus 4.
Let’s see what leaks show up in the weeks coming up to Google I/O.
