The Nexus 4 has been hacked to run USB OTG, what does this mean, well it means you can attach your usb drive to the Nexus 4 and watch movies & listen to music, the possibilities are endless.
Here is what you need to hack your Nexus 4 for this feature:-
- a Nexus 4 running custom recovery, ClockWorkMod is preferred
- Android 4.2.2 — Should be compatible with ANY 4.2.2 ROM.
- OTG Y-cable or USB OTG cable plus means of providing external power (the links are for reference only, you can from whatever place you like).
- 5V power source — wall charger, car charger, usb port on computer, battery pack, etc
The flashing process is pretty simple, just download a zip file and flash it from recovery.
