It seems Google planted a new app on our devices. I turned my phone on this morning and noticed a new app in my app drawer called Google Settings.
It doesn’t seem to be much so put the pitchforks and torches away. There are a few simple settings in there that can easily be done else where but I guess the brass at Google figured they’d be helping us out by making these features easier accessible. Why wouldn’t they? It makes it easier for the average user to get tied in to their ecosystem.
As far as I can tell its nothing to get your panties in a bunch over. When the “we need your Social Security number app” comes out, then we grab the pitchforks.
So head to your app drawer, open the app and maybe it will be helpful to you (there is an ad mob ads check box).
