Review: rooCASE Flip Cover Wallet for the Galaxy S4

If you are looking for a thin flip cover for your Galaxy S4, rooCASE makes a slick little flip cover wallet case worth checking out. Construction is a brushed texture synthetic leather wrapped over a hard plastic lid and shell. Open the lid and you’ll find two handy card slots in the soft fabric. Doing so also activates the screen, which was fully functional on both Android 4.3 and 4.4. You won’t see it during normal use, but the reflective diamond pattern inside the shell is a nice extra touch.

One of my largest dislikes about flip covers is they often leave the phone exposed to drop damage on the top and bottom edges, but that is not an issue here. The way rooCASE did the corners of the flip cover is nice and thick with the Galaxy S4 sitting inside the lip staying fully protected. Cutouts were also all good and I found no issues of the case interfering with the buttons, micro-USB port, headphone jack, or IR blaster.
