LG Electronics officially confirmed the existence of LG G Pro 2, successor of the LG Optimus G Pro.  LG announced that it will be launching G Pro 2 this February, likely at Mobile World Congress 2014.

LG drops the Optimus handle from the name of the device, advertising it as a continuation of its ‘G Series’ of smartphones (being the G, G Pro and G2). LG seems to be optimistic on G Pro 2, mentioning the sales Optimus G Pro exceeded 1 million units just in four months of launch in their domestic market citing a vivid Full-HD display and creative user experience of Optimus G Pro as the highly valued factors.

We may need to wait until February for more details on LG G Pro 2 as there is no official word yet from LG on hardware specifications and software features to be included with it.
