Review: Casecrown DUZiGN Imperial Case for Nexus 7 FHD

The Casecrown DUZiGN Imperial is a folio case for the Nexus 7 FHD that folds back to serve as a stand for easy video viewing or typing.

On the outside is a synthetic leather in blue or purple with matching stitching. The only adornment on the front is a nice chrome accent piece in the bottom right corner that lets you know this is a DUZiGN case, while the back has a matching synthetic leather tab that catches the cover when folded over for stand duty. Inside is a charcoal gray soft touch material. The Nexus 7 FHD is held snug in the case and there is an additional Velcro piece that tucks in behind the tablet that holds it in place.

The screen cover of the DUZiGN Imperial is a magnetic smart cover that powers the Nexus 7 FHD on and has two additional magnets in the top and bottom corners to hold it shut. Going around the edges, all ports are accessible, and there is an extra wide cutout around the power button and volume rocker, something I particularly liked. When the cover is closed, this case is compatible with wireless QI chargers.

The Casecrown DUZiGN Imperial for the Nexus 7 FHD is available from Casecrown for $23.
