Google has made the leap to having their very own Google Movies and My TV Shows on iOS devices.
While this is very cool as some of us Android geeks do have at least one iOS device in the house, it’s not quite the same as the Android versions. Actually not even close.
I have an iPad Mini and the movies and TV shows I’ve purchased stream just fine on the iPad without a hitch. But! You can not download the movie or TV show directly to your iOS device (big surprise there) and you can’t purchase or rent movies or TV shows from your iOS device. So you’re kind of stuck purchasing or renting the movies or TV shows from one of your Android devices to be able to watch them on your iOS device. Make sense? I’m not sure, but those of us with iOS devices have access to our Google Play Movies and My TV Shows, and it’s Chromecast compatible.
