T-Mobile Galaxy S3 LTE Gets Android 4.3 Update

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean started rolling out to the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 LTE (T999L). This Over-the-Air (OTA) update brings compatibility with Samsung Galaxy Gear and Samsung Knox, several new features, performance updates, and improved camera firmware.

T999LUVUBMK4 is the version number of this update, which already started rolling out on 12/9/2013 for some. The complete change-log is below:

TRIM Support (Makes the device much faster)
Core UI elements updated to the ones on the Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S4′s theme all over)

GPU drivers have been updated (Higher GPU benchmark scores)

New S-Voice (from Galaxy S4)

You can install this update on to your device in two ways:

  • Update via OTA: Accept the OTA update notification, download, and install the update. Make sure to be on WiFi if your data plan is limited.
  • Update via Samsung Kies:  Make sure you have latest version of Samsung Kies on your desktop, connect your device, and install the update.
