Nexus 5 wireless charging does work with a case applied

Last week we posted our review on the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case for the Nexus 5 and a lot of the questions concerning the case being applied on the Nexus 5 was, will wireless charging still work with the case on? I’m here to tell you Yes! Wireless charging the Nexus 5 with the Nokia DT-900 still charges flawlessly. I found absolutely no difference in the charging speeds with the case applied to the Nexus 5 or not. Keep in mind, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case is basically a TPU bumper case with a clear thin transparent backing. When you have a second take a look at the full review of the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for the Nexus 5. You’ll see what I mean when I say there isn’t much between the phone and the Nokia DT-900. I can’t speak for heavy duty bullet proof cases just yet, but we do have more cases coming in and we’ll be sure to let you know how the wireless charging works.

If you have a case applied to your Nexus 5 and may be on the fence about ordering the Nokia DT-900 Wireless charging plate….  Get off the fence and get one. If you shop around you can find a Nokia DT-900 Wireless charging plate in the $25 range. If you need one now hit the link here.

Thanks for the review! How about Spigen Slim Armor cases? Do you know if they work as well?

I have a moko case and the new nexus wireless charger does not charge my LG G2 phone thru it. Very disappointing.
