Unofficial CM11 ROM for Verizon Galaxy Nexus
It’s well known now that Galaxy Nexus is not receiving Android 4.4 KitKat. That’s not going to stop the developer community to introduce ROMs based on Android 4.4. Handful of such ROMs are now available for Galaxy Nexus, but not all of them support Galaxy Nexus on Verizon Wireless. However an unofficial CyanogenMod 11 ROM is now available for Verizon Galaxy Nexus.
Head over to this post at XDA-developers for download links, bug list and instructions on how to flash the ROM. Please be aware that it’s a nightly build and other bugs may show up and don’t forget doing a nandroid backup through recovery before flashing. Ensure either CWM 6.0.4.3 or TWRP 2.6.3.0 recovery is already installed on your device.
