Rumor has that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is coming in late October this year, Google I/O was a bummer this week as per me because we neither got a new Nexus device nor we got a new Android version. But, what’s done is done and Android 5.0 seems to coming soon to quench our thirst for new Android versions.
As per rumors Android 5.0 will be optimized to run on devices with 512MB of RAM which would be great, looks like Google is trying to reduce the amount of fragmentation which exists in the Android world as of now. Even though I would not blame Google for the fragmentation I am happy Google is trying to reduce it.
Also, if you remember Moto X is also to be released in late October, could Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and Moto X be launching on same day, quite a possibility.
