Cyanogenmod 10.1 RC1 available for 40 devices 1

Cyanogenmod 10.1 Release Candidate 1 builds now available

These are the stories that get my Android blood pumping!  One of the first things I look in to when getting a new Android device is to see if Cyanogenmod will be blessing it with their presence.  Good news for a whole bunch of devices today!

Cyanogenmod 10.1 RC1 build is now available for a total of 40 devices.  CM 10.1 R1 is an Android 4.2.2 based firmware that seems to be one of the last hurdles before we have a stable release of CM 10.1.

To see the full list of devices that are lucky enough to get an RC1 head on over to Cyanogenmod.

We haven’t used the ‘Release Candidate’ nomenclature since the ICS days, but we feel the 10.1 branch is quickly approaching the point where a ‘final’ build is due. To prepare for that eventuality, RC1 builds for CyanogenMod 10.1.0 are now landing on our servers! This will be one of (if not the last) milestone releases before a 10.1.0 is pushed out. These builds will appear as they complete the build process and, as always, you can download the builds via get.cm!
