Kindle Fire HD 7″ gets some unofficial CyanogenMod 10.1 love, the build is still an alpha one and is not officially supported by CyanogenMod but who cares about official CyanogenMod support, as long as we have developers working on the device (official or not) we are good.
You need to make sure that you have 2nd bootloader installed correctly on your Kindle Fire HD 7, and as always neither we nor the developers are responsible for anything which goes wrong with your device after you install this.
WORKING:
- 3.0.50 kernel (up from a stock 3.0.8 kernel). This includes updates from Texas Instruments, Google and Kernel.org.
- PowerVR Graphics Drivers: DDK 1.9@2166536 for Android (Jellybean compatible)
- Audio (for output only atm)

- Wifi
- Bluetooth pairing
- Sensors
- HWAcceleration
- HD Codecs for YouTubeHD and Netflix
CURRENT KNOWN ISSUES:
- 3D Performance is not very good.
- Sensors: Testing various sensors, gyro seems 90 degrees off, etc.
- AUDIO: INPUTS / HDMI / BT don’t work
