Earlier today we published a story that the Droid DNA had been S-OFF’ed, well it looks like the same S-OFF method will be used to S-OFF other HTC Devices as well.We do not have a complete list as of now but below are the devices which have already been tested:-
- Droid DNA
- One XL
- One S
The device list most definitely grow as the exploit is tested on other HTC devices. What is interesting is the timing of this exploit, with the HTC M7 aka HTC One to be released tomorrow I guess we should have S-OFF on the One as well as HTC would not have got time to fix the exploit. Here’s hoping that we get S-OFF for the One as well.
